Joint Launch NPS and NPSC Strategic Plans
The joint Launch of the 2018-2022 Strategic plans for the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) and the National Police Service (NPS) held at the Kenya School of Government on 27th September 2019 was graced by the Interior Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Fred Meting and it marked the next phase of reform in the security sector.
Dr. Matiangi, speaking during the joint launch underscored the importance of the strategic planning to enable the two institutions to remain focused on the reform agenda for efficiency and effectiveness I service delivery. He appreciated the synergy currently being experienced between the security sector, and the civil society together with non-state actors, members of the public and development partners. The Inspector General, Mr. Hillary Mutyambai and the chairman of the Commission, Mr. Eliud Kinuthia expressed their commitment to implement their respective strategic plans for efficiency in service delivery.
The highlight of the event was the concurrent unveiling of the two strategic plans and the new NPSC logo.Parklane Africa set-up the launch event which consisted of corporate colors wall draping, ambience lighting, setting up the strategic plan dummies on electronic rotating table and confetti, pyrotechnics.
There was a wash of sparkles and pomp that signified the beginning of the new phase of this joint journey towards efficient and effective service delivery.
